Offering stylish, candlelit, contemporary surroundings, soft music, fine wine and real cooked food - we are truly passionate about dining out.
Our aim is to create a restaurant which presents the best fresh local ingredients on offer in our area. We use freshly landed market fish, delivered by our fishmonger along with locally sourced Caithness beef from our town butcher.
Whether you're in for our evening a la carte menu in the evening, soup and a sandwich at lunch time, the emphasis is on excellent ingredients cooked and served simply. All dishes are prepared in-house.
Our menus change throughout the year as our chef also gives a seasonal theme to our dishes.
Our Sunday roast, offered for lunch and dinner, remains extremely popular and gives excellent value for money. So why not come in, read the Sunday papers, relax and enjoy a roast.

Bar 16 is relaxing cafe/bar offering a huge range of beers from around the world, spirits, liqueurs, and soft drinks. Our mouth-watering cocktail menu will give you the chance to try something a bit different! If you don't fancy a drink, we also serve fresh Italian coffee.
Choose from our bar lunch/supper menus - home cooked gastro pub style food.
Equipped with comfortable leather sofas to relax, large plasma screens to watch sporting events, pool table and good background music you will enjoy the atmosphere.
Also, an outside walled patio area where you can enjoy the fresh Caithness air, relax, dine and drink alfresco!
